Newsfeeds

With the aid of newsfeeds you can load current news onto your Stud.IP homepage so that anyone who visits your homepage can view it.

Subscribing to newsfeeds

To subscribe to newsfeeds, select the Newsfeeds tab when you are on your homepage.

Here you see the field in which you can enter the URL for your desired newsfeeds and simultaneously have the option of deleting or editing existing newsfeeds.

UTo obtain the URL for the desired newsfeeds, initially access the desired Internet site. If this page provides the feature that allows the user to subscribe to news, a small orange symbol is visible on the Header bar or the Address bar of your browser.

Click on this symbol once with the mouse; this transfers you to a page with the provider’s news.

Simply copy the address which is displayed above the news in the browser window (outlined in red in the figure) and insert it into the designated field in Stud.IP. After you have clicked on “Go”, the news should now have become part of your homepage.
