The last 5 postings

In this view of the Forum you are shown the Last five Postings of the course. They look similar to this:

In each case the newest Posting is always at the top. Postings which you have not yet seen are displayed in an unfolded configuration so that you can read them. Old Postings, which you are already familiar with, are only shown as one line. Click on the arrow at the beginning of a line and the corresponding Posting unfolds. With a click on the arrow all postings open up.

At the very bottom of the page you will find two arrows with which you can also display more or less than the last five Postings.

The down arrow means: “show me five more postings“; the up arrow thus means “show me five less”.

Frequently, New postings or, similarly, the Postings in the last five view appear to have been taken very much out of context — particularly if they are answers to older Postings. To read the complete previous discussion, click on the subject to which it is assigned in the Posting’s heading.

In this manner, you are shown a view in which all the Postings that are associated with the one you just read are displayed in an open configuration. Now you can comfortably follow the discussion again.
