Search through the Forum

You have the option of searching for individual terms in a course's Forum Threads:

You can search for the search term in Author, Subjects or Contents.

• Searching in Authors means that the search term will be sought in the group of course participants who have already placed a Posting in the Forum.
• Subject searches for the term in the headings of all Postings.
• Contents means that the contents of all Postings in the course will be combed for the search term.

The search result will then be shown to you in a hit list.

Pease note that no “AND” or “OR” linkages are possible. It is only possible to search for a single term (= one word) in each case. Thus, to search for a certain author, only enter the person’s first or last name.
